O God, you are King of the Universe!
You spoke and the Universe was Created.
Without You nothing could be made.
For, in you, we live and have our being.
O God, you are King of the Universe!
Into our nostrils you breathed life.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
You created a little lower than the angels.
O God, you are King of the Universe!
By your hand, the seas are held back.
At your command, food falls from heaven.
By your grace you clothe and sustain us.
O God, you are King of the Universe!
Forgive us for our inhumanity to each other.
Forgive us for this world we have corrupted.
Forgive us our arrogant ignorance of YOU.
O God, you are King of the Universe!
There is none, no one like you, O God.
Your thoughts are wiser than anyone.
All things are within your understanding.
O God, you are King of the Universe!
Despite our faults and failures, we remain.
When we should perish, we still exist.
Your grace covers me and sustains us.
